Assoc. Prof. Yeliz Çavuşoğlu Yüce, DDS

Assoc. Prof. Yeliz Çavuşoğlu Yüce, DDS is an Oral & Dental Health specialist practicing at Acibadem Atasehir Hospital in İstanbul, where she has served as Clinical Director of the Oral and Dental Health Department since 2022. Her professional focus is prosthetic dental treatment, dental prostheses, implant surgery and implant-related treatment planning. She has more than 20 years of experience in dentistry, combining clinical work with research and teaching.

Dr. Yüce graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry in 2006 and worked there as a Research Assistant in the Department of Prosthetic Dental Treatment from 2006 to 2010. In 2011 she completed postgraduate training in Prosthetic Dental Treatment at Hacettepe University Health Sciences Institute. From 2012 to 2013 she was a Fellow (ITI Scholar) in a training program in implant surgery at Bern University Department of Oral Surgery. She received her Associate Professorship in 2017 through ACIBADEM UNIVERSITY SMYO, Department of Dental Services, Oral and Dental Health Program, where she has also taught as a Lecturer. Between 2011 and 2022 she worked as a researcher and later as a prosthodontist-consultant in an oral and dental health department before taking on her current directorship. She is a member of the European Academy of Osseointegration, the Turkish Dental Association and the International Team for Implantology. Her co-authored publications include studies on early and conventional loading of dental implants, titanium-zirconium alloy implants, zirconia osseointegration, lateral ridge augmentation and color measurement on natural teeth, published in journals such as the International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Implants and Journal of Dental Research.

Clinical focus

Dr. Yüce’s clinical work centers on prosthetic dental treatment, which involves restoring or replacing missing or damaged teeth with dental prostheses. Treatment planning in this area generally takes into account the condition of the remaining teeth, the supporting bone and soft tissue, and the patient’s functional and aesthetic goals. A second area of focus is implant surgery and implant-related treatment planning. Her training as an ITI Scholar and her research on implant loading protocols and bone remodeling around implants inform this part of her practice. Whether an implant-based solution is appropriate, and how it should be planned and restored, is determined on an individual basis after clinical and radiographic assessment.

How Dr. Yüce works with international patients

Dr. Yüce consults in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for other languages. The Acibadem international patient team coordinates the collection of prior reports and imaging, such as dental X-rays, CT scans, previous treatment records and laboratory results, and arranges appointments and the hospital visit. A first consultation typically covers the patient’s history and symptoms, a review of existing imaging and previous treatments, a clinical examination and a discussion of the available options.
