Meniscal tears vary widely in location, size and pattern, and not every tear requires an operation; the choice between conservative management and surgery is made on a case-by-case basis after examination and imaging review. More broadly, his approach to joint injuries aims to restore stability and function while taking into account the demands the patient intends to place on the joint. Recovery after a knee or joint injury usually involves a period of structured rehabilitation, and the expected timeline is explained to the patient as part of the treatment plan.

How Dr. İnce works with international patients

Dr. İnce consults in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for patients who speak other languages. Before a visit, the international patient team coordinates the collection of prior medical reports and imaging, arranges appointments and organizes the hospital stay or outpatient visit. A first consultation typically covers the patient’s history and current symptoms, a review of existing imaging such as X-rays or MRI scans and of any previous treatments, a clinical examination of the affected joint, and a discussion of the available options and what each would involve. Where an in-person visit is not immediately possible, a video consultation can be arranged for international patients so that the initial review of the case and the discussion of possible next steps can take place remotely, with any subsequent examination or treatment planned accordingly.
