Founded in Istanbul in 1991, it operates 45 hospitals and medical centres across Türkiye, Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Serbia, including seven hospitals accredited by Joint Commission International (JCI). The group employs around 30,000 people, among them more than 3,300 physicians, and its specialist centres cover oncology, cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, organ transplantation, orthopaedics, IVF, neurosurgery and robotic surgery. Through a network of 55 international patient offices it cares for patients from more than 90 countries every year; acibademinternational.com is its official English-language international patient website.
