Prof. Dr. Bülent Evren Erkul

Prof. Dr. Bülent Evren Erkul is an otorhinolaryngology specialist with 25 years of experience. His listed areas of expertise include hoarseness, snoring, salivary gland diseases, head and neck cancers, tongue cancer, laryngeal cancer, thyroid surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery, and septoplasty.

Prof. Dr. Erkul graduated from Gülhane Askeri Tıp Akademisi Faculty of Medicine in 2001 and completed otorhinolaryngology training at Gülhane Askeri Tıp Akademisi in 2007. He was appointed Associate Professor at Gülhane Askeri Tıp Akademisi, Haydarpaşa Eğitim Hospital in İstanbul in 2013. He became Professor at Health Sciences University, Gülhane ve Hamidiye Faculty of Medicine in İstanbul in 2020. In 2024, he completed a PhD in Moleküler Onkoloji at Health Sciences University, Hamidiye Health Sciences Institute in İstanbul.

In 2010–2022, Prof. Dr. Erkul was a Faculty Member at Gülhane Askeri Tıp Akademisi, Haydarpaşa Eğitim Hospital ve Health Sciences University. He was at Anadolu Sağlık Merkezi Hospital in Association with John Hopkins Medicine from 2022 to 2026. He joined Acıbadem Healthcare Services in 2026. His international periods include an Observership at House Ear Clinic, Visiting Physicians Program in Los Angeles, California, ABD in 2007; an Observership at Head and Neck Cancer Center, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Division in Pittsburgh, PA, ABD in 2014; and a Klinik ve Araştırma Yandal İhtisası at Medical University of South Carolina, Head&Neck Tumor Center in 2015–2016.
