Çağlar Yazıcıoğlu, MD is a Gynecology & Obstetrics specialist at Acibadem International Hospital in İstanbul, where he has served as Unit Supervisor of the IVF Center since 2023. He graduated from Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine in 1999 and completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine in 2008, following an earlier period of Internal Medicine residency between 2001 and 2003. His early career included compulsory service as a specialist physician at Siverek State Hospital (2008–2010), military service at Kütahya Military Hospital (2010–2011), and positions at K.Maraş Obstetrics, Gynecology and Children’s Hospital and the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of G.Antep Medicalpark Hospital. Between 2012 and 2017 he ran a private practice (Özel Muayenehane) in Gaziantep. From 2017 to 2021 he was part of the IVF Center at Acıbadem Kayseri Hospital, and in the first half of 2021 he served as Unit Supervisor of the IVF Center at Gaziantep Sanko University Hospital. He then worked at the IVF Center of Acıbadem Maslak Hospital from 2021 to 2023 before taking up his current role. He is a member of the Turkish Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology (TJOD) and the Gynecological Endoscopy Association, and he has co-authored peer-reviewed publications on topics including maternal oxidative stress during Ramadan fasting, ceruloplasmin and neural tube defects, and Morgagni hydatids in relation to infertility.

Clinical focus

Dr. Yazıcıoğlu’s clinical work centers on reproductive medicine and in vitro fertilization. He evaluates and treats women with fertility-related concerns, including low ovarian reserve, and carries out AMH assessment as part of the evaluation of ovarian reserve. Egg freezing is among the fertility-preservation options he offers. He also manages polycystic ovary syndrome, a condition that can affect both menstrual regularity and fertility, and discusses treatment approaches according to each patient’s findings and goals.

Beyond fertility care, his gynecological practice includes hysterectomy, genital aesthetics, and the treatment of genital warts. The suitability of any procedure is determined after clinical examination and a review of the patient’s history and prior results, and options are discussed with the patient before a plan is agreed.

How Dr. Yazıcıoğlu works with international patients

Dr. Yazıcıoğlu consults in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for patients who speak other languages.
