Derya Uyan, MD

Derya Uyan, MD is a specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics at Acibadem Bodrum Hospital in Muğla, Turkey. She completed her specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Dr. Zekai Tahir Burak Women’s Health Training and Research Hospital between 2005 and 2010 and continued there as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist until 2011. She then completed compulsory service as a specialist at Doktor Hulusi Alataş Elmadağ State Hospital and at Diyarbakır Hani District State Hospital, followed by a specialist position at Medipol Mega Hospitals in 2012. Her published work includes studies on tumor markers in the diagnosis and prognosis of adnexal masses, the clinical role of HE4 in assessing adnexal masses, and the effect of smoking on ovulation induction and intrauterine insemination in subfertile patients.

Dr. Uyan evaluates and treats a range of gynecological conditions, including menstrual irregularities, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), painful menstruation and painful intercourse (dyspareunia). She cares for patients with endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain, and provides evaluation and treatment planning for infertility. Her practice also covers the treatment of sexual dysfunction and the management of symptoms related to menopause.

In obstetrics, she provides high-risk pregnancy care, including the management of gestational diabetes.
