In the lower limb, his work includes hip replacement surgery and knee replacement surgery for patients whose joint condition is judged suitable for arthroplasty, as well as foot and ankle surgery, including the assessment and treatment of flatfoot (pes planus). For patients with hip or knee conditions, the consultation includes a review of imaging and previous treatments to determine whether joint replacement is an appropriate option.

He also manages sports injuries and knee injuries, including anterior cruciate ligament tears, meniscus tears and muscle tears. In the upper limb, his practice covers shoulder surgery and elbow surgery. Trauma care forms a further part of his work. How Dr. Yazar works with international patients

Dr. Yazar consults in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for patients who speak other languages. Before a visit, the hospital’s international patient team coordinates the collection of prior reports and imaging, such as MRI, CT, X-ray or ultrasound reports, laboratory and pathology results, operative notes and discharge summaries, and arranges appointments and the hospital visit.
