Mutlu Duran, MD

Mutlu Duran, MD is an otorhinolaryngology specialist working in the Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) unit at Acibadem Bursa Hospital in Bursa. Clinical focus

A large part of Dr. Duran’s work concerns the nose and sinuses. He evaluates and treats nasal deviation and performs septoplasty and septorhinoplasty, in which the nasal septum and the external shape of the nose are addressed in the same operation. He also performs endoscopic sinus surgery and assesses patients with snoring, which may be related to nasal obstruction or other causes in the upper airway.

In the throat and airway, his areas of expertise include tonsillectomy, adenoid surgery and the evaluation of dysphagia, or difficulty swallowing. He sees patients with hearing loss and dizziness, both of which require careful history-taking and examination to identify the likely origin. Within his head and neck surgery subspecialty, he is involved in the diagnosis and surgical management of head and neck cancers, where the choice of treatment depends on the location, extent and type of the tumor and is discussed with each patient individually.

How Dr. Duran works with international patients

Dr. Duran consults in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for other languages.
