Prof. Dr. Ayşe Nurdan Tözün

Prof. Dr. Ayşe Nurdan Tözün is an Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology specialist at Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital. Her clinical interests include inflammatory bowel diseases, including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, liver and biliary tract conditions, hepatitis, pancreatic diseases, digestive disorders, and gastrointestinal cancers.

She completed her medical education at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1974, followed by Internal Medicine training in 1979 and Gastroenterology training in 1984. Her career includes leadership roles as Head of the Marmara University Gastroenterology Institute from 1992 and Dean of Marmara University Faculty of Medicine from 1995 to 1998. She has worked with Acıbadem Healthcare Services since 2005.
