Dr. Çetik graduated from İstanbul University İstanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1995 and worked as a research assistant in the university’s Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology from 1996 to 2000, completing his specialty training in Orthopedics and Traumatology in 2000. He then practiced as a specialist physician at Private Avrasya Hospital, İstanbul (2001–2002), followed by posts at Diyarbakır 600-bed Military Hospital and Bingöl SSK Hospital (2002–2003). From 2002 to 2007 he was a faculty member at Kırıkkale University Faculty of Medicine Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology, became an Associate Professor in 2007, and continued there as a faculty member and Associate Professor from 2008 to 2011. He has worked within Acıbadem Healthcare Services since 2011. His published research includes studies on tendon repair techniques, tibial plateau fractures, arthroscopic chondroplasty, recurrent anterior shoulder dislocation and distal radius malunion, appearing in journals such as Foot Ankle Int. and Knee Surgery, Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy.
Clinical focus
A substantial part of Dr. Çetik’s practice is devoted to foot and ankle surgery, including diabetic foot surgery and Charcot foot surgery.
