He also manages peripheral vascular occlusions, in which arteries supplying the limbs become narrowed or blocked, and aortic aneurysm, a widening of the body’s main artery that requires careful assessment and follow-up.

Depending on the case, treatment planning for vascular disease may involve open or endovascular surgery, and some patients may be advised to continue with observation or medical management rather than an intervention. The appropriate approach is decided only after a clinical examination and a review of imaging.

How Dr. Tire works with international patients

Dr. Tire consults in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for patients who speak other languages. Before a visit, the Acibadem international patient team coordinates the collection of prior reports and imaging, such as ultrasound, CT or MRI reports, laboratory results, operative notes and discharge summaries, arranges appointments and organizes the hospital visit.
