Dr. Alper Koçak

Dr. Alper Koçak is a specialist in Gynecology & Obstetrics at Acibadem Altunizade Hospital in İstanbul, where he practices in the Gynecology & Obstetrics unit. Clinical focus

Dr. Koçak sees women with a wide range of gynecological conditions, including menstrual irregularities, pelvic pain and dysfunction, HPV and sexually transmitted infections. He treats endometriosis and provides assessment and treatment for infertility. In urogynecology, his work includes the evaluation and treatment of urinary incontinence and other pelvic floor or bladder-related concerns. He also follows women through menopause and offers treatment for sexual dysfunction. Where appropriate, he discusses both medical and surgical treatment options with the patient.

In obstetrics, Dr. Koçak provides pregnancy follow-up and delivery, including delivery options such as epidural, cesarean and water birth, and he manages ectopic pregnancy. His surgical practice includes vNOTES scarless surgery, a form of vaginal laparoscopy in which the procedure is performed through the vagina rather than through abdominal incisions. He also performs genital aesthetic procedures. How Dr. Koçak works with international patients

Dr. Koçak consults in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for patients who speak other languages.
