Prof. Arel Gereli is an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Acıbadem University Faculty of Medicine. He specializes in shoulder and upper extremity surgery, with advanced training in shoulder procedures completed in 2017 through the European Society for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery (SECEC/ESSSE) traveling scholarship, including training in Japan and Korea. He is an active member of several professional organizations: the Turkish Shoulder and Elbow Surgery Association, the Turkish Society of Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery, the Turkish Orthopedics and Traumatology Association, the Turkish Orthopedics and Traumatology Education Council, the European Society for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery (SECEC/ESSSE), and the Istanbul Medical Chamber. His clinical focus combines evidence-based orthopedic practice with specialized techniques for shoulder and upper limb conditions, aiming to restore function and improve patient quality of life.
