Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aylin Önder Dirican

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aylin Önder Dirican is a specialist in Gynecology & Obstetrics who sees patients at Acibadem Fulya Hospital and Acibadem Etiler Outpatient Clinic in İstanbul. How Dr. Dirican works with international patients

Dr. Dirican consults in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for patients who speak other languages. Before a visit, the international patient team coordinates the collection of prior reports and imaging, such as ultrasound, MRI or CT reports, laboratory and pathology results, operative notes and discharge summaries, and arranges appointments and the hospital visit itself. A first consultation typically covers the patient’s history and current symptoms, a review of existing imaging and any previous treatments, a clinical examination and a discussion of the options that may be considered. Video consultation is available for international patients who wish to discuss their situation with Dr. Dirican before traveling or as part of follow-up; the scope of a video consultation is limited by the fact that no physical examination can take place, so an in-person assessment may still be recommended.
