In movement disorders she manages Parkinson’s disease and related conditions, including the evaluation of patients for brain pacemaker therapy. She also sees patients with sleep disorders such as insomnia and sleep apnea. Treatment decisions are made after a clinical evaluation, and not every option is suitable for every patient.
How Dr. Tur works with international patients
Dr. Tur consults in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for other languages. Before a visit, the Acibadem international patient team coordinates the collection of prior reports and imaging, arranges appointments and organises the hospital stay. A first consultation typically covers the patient’s history and symptoms, a review of existing imaging and previous treatments, a clinical examination and a discussion of the options. Video consultations are available for international patients who wish to discuss their case before deciding whether to travel.
