Dr. Injı Suleymanova

Dr. Injı Suleymanova is a Gynecology and Obstetrics specialist at Acibadem Kartal Hospital in İstanbul. She works in the Gynecology & Obstetrics unit, and her practice covers menopause care, urogynecology, and general gynecological and obstetric care, including pregnancy follow-up and delivery. She has more than 16 years of experience in medicine.

Dr. Suleymanova graduated from Azerbaijan Odlar Yurdu University Faculty of Medicine in 2010. Between 2014 and 2018 she completed her residency in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Medicine, with clinical training at Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital, and qualified as a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2018. She subsequently worked at Bona Dea International Hospital from 2019 to 2020, at Baku Medical Plaza Hospital from 2020 to 2024, and at Özel Medikum Hospital in 2024, before moving to her current position in 2026.

Clinical focus

A central part of Dr. Suleymanova’s work is urogynecology and pelvic floor health. She assesses and treats urinary incontinence, uterine prolapse and other bladder health concerns, and she follows women through menopause, addressing symptoms and related health questions in this period. In gynecological surgery, her practice includes hysterectomy and vNOTES scarless surgery, a transvaginal approach that avoids abdominal incisions. The choice of approach depends on the individual diagnosis, anatomy and overall health, and is discussed with each patient after examination.

Dr. Suleymanova also manages endometriosis, menstrual irregularities, Bartholin cysts and ectopic pregnancy. Her obstetric work covers pregnancy follow-up and delivery. In addition, her areas of interest include genital aesthetic procedures. Treatment plans are prepared on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the findings of the clinical examination, imaging and laboratory results, and the patient’s own priorities.

How Dr. Suleymanova works with international patients

Dr. Suleymanova consults in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for patients who speak other languages. Before a visit, the Acibadem international patient team coordinates the collection of prior reports and imaging, such as ultrasound, MRI or CT reports, laboratory and pathology results, operative notes and discharge summaries, and arranges appointments and the hospital visit. A first consultation typically covers the patient’s history and symptoms, a review of existing imaging and previous treatments, a clinical examination and a discussion of the options. For patients who are not yet in İstanbul, a video consultation can be arranged as a first step to review the situation and discuss whether a visit is appropriate.
