He is a member of professional bodies including the European Society of Gynecologic Oncology (ESGO), the International Gynecologic Cancer Society (IGCS), the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL), the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE), the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), The Society of Urogynecology and the Turkish Gynecologic Oncology Group, and he serves on the Turkish Health Ministry, National Cancer Advisory Board. His publications cover topics such as secondary cytoreductive surgery for recurrent ovarian cancer, laparoscopic treatment of ovarian endometriomas and the comparison of tension-free vaginal tape with laparoscopic Burch urethropexy.
Clinical focus
Dr. Güngör’s clinical work covers benign and malignant gynecologic conditions. He treats endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain and pelvic dysfunction, and provides menopause care. In urogynecology, he evaluates and treats pelvic floor disorders.
