Prof. Dr. Neşe Tuncer

Prof. Neşe Tuncer is a neurologist and researcher with long-standing commitment to neurodegenerative disease care, education, and advocacy. She completed advanced training at the Karolinska Institutet Center for Alzheimer’s Research in 2007 and currently practices at Acıbadem Health Group (since 2022). Her clinical and research interests include Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, and neuropsychiatry. Active in both national and international professional communities, she holds memberships in the Turkish Medical Association, Turkish Neurological Association, Turkish Epilepsy Association, Neurodegenerative Diseases Association, and the Association of Cerebrovascular Diseases.

International affiliations include the American Academy of Neurology, the Alzheimer’s Association, the Movement Disorder Society, and the Mediterranean Stroke Society. She is a founding member of the Alzheimer’s Association of Turkey Kadıköy Branch and serves on the Turkish Neurological Association Behavioral Neurology Dementia Working Group, as well as the board of the Neuropsychiatry Association. Neşe Tuncer combines clinical practice with education and organizational leadership to improve diagnosis, treatment, and support for patients and families affected by neurological disorders.
