Within the intensive care setting she is involved in coordinating care for patients whose condition can change quickly and who need continuous observation.

Her work further extends to pain management and palliative care. Pain management in this context addresses both acute pain, for example after surgery or injury, and pain that accompanies serious or long-term illness. Palliative care focuses on the comfort and symptom control of patients with advanced disease, alongside support for their families, and is planned in coordination with the other specialists involved in the patient’s treatment. How Dr. Görgülü works with international patients
