Prof. Dr. Şahin Zeteroğlu

Prof. Dr. Şahin Zeteroğlu is a specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics at Acibadem Bursa Hospital in Bursa, where he works across the Gynecology and Obstetrics, In Vitro Fertilization and Reproductive Medicine Center, and Menopause units. He has been in medicine for more than 41 years, and his clinical work covers infertility, menopause, menstrual concerns, endometriosis, pregnancy follow-up, and delivery care.

Dr. Zeteroğlu graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1992 and completed his specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yüzüncü Yıl University Faculty of Medicine in 1998. He worked in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yüzüncü Yıl University Faculty of Medicine from 1998 to 2004, becoming Assistant Associate Professor in 1999, and then at Mustafa Kemal University Faculty of Medicine from 2004 to 2006, where he became Associate Professor in 2006. Earlier in his career he served as a physician at Yusufeli Kılıçkaya Health Center and Ankara Demetevler Health Center. He joined Acıbadem Healthcare Services in 2006. He is a member of the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), the Turkish Gynecology and Obstetrics Association, the Turkish Perinatology Association, the Turkish – German Gynecology and Obstetrics Association, the Gynecological Endoscopy Association, and the Reproductive Endocrinology, Infertility and Assisted Reproductive Techniques Association, and has served as Gynecology and Obstetrics Association Hatay Branch President. His published work includes studies on uterine rupture, preeclampsia, ectopic pregnancy, induction of labor, and cesarean delivery rates in adolescent pregnancy.

Clinical focus

Dr. Zeteroğlu evaluates and treats a range of gynecological conditions, including menstrual irregularities, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), menstrual pain, Bartholin cyst, and polycystic ovary syndrome. He provides endometriosis treatment and performs hysterectomy when this is considered appropriate after assessment. In reproductive medicine, he sees patients for infertility evaluation and treatment within the In Vitro Fertilization and Reproductive Medicine Center. He also follows women through menopause, offering assessment and management of menopausal symptoms.

In obstetrics, Dr. Zeteroğlu provides pregnancy follow-up and delivery care, and manages complications such as preeclampsia and ectopic pregnancy.
