Prof. Dr. Şükrü Aktan

Prof. Şükrü Aktan is a seasoned surgical specialist with a distinguished academic and clinical career. He earned the title of Professor Doctor in 1996 and currently contributes his expertise at Acibadem Health Group since 2023. With a broad focus that spans hepatopancreatobiliary surgery, organ transplantation and breast disease, he combines deep surgical skill with multidisciplinary care. He is active in both national and international professional communities, holding memberships in the Turkish Surgical Association, the Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary Surgery community, and the Gastroenterology Association of Turkey.

He also serves within organ transplant networks including the European Society for Organ Transplantation and the Coordination Association of Organ Transplant Organizations. In breast health, he is involved with the Breast Associations Coordination Committee and the American Society of Breast Disease.
