Clinical focus

Dr. Tangay’s clinical work covers sports injuries and knee injuries, including meniscus tears and cruciate ligament ruptures. He assesses and treats conditions of the shoulder and elbow, and his practice includes elbow surgery. In joint replacement, he performs hip replacement and knee replacement surgery for patients with joint conditions affecting the hip or knee. His trauma work includes minimally invasive approaches to fracture care where they are appropriate for the individual injury.

He also treats conditions of the foot and ankle through foot and ankle surgery and evaluates bone cysts in children. As with any orthopedic condition, the choice between conservative treatment and surgery depends on the findings of the clinical examination, the imaging results, and the patient’s individual circumstances, which are discussed with the patient before a treatment plan is agreed.

How Dr. Tangay works with international patients
