İlknur Çitil, MD is a specialist in Gynecology & Obstetrics at Acibadem International Hospital in İstanbul. She has also contributed to a poster presentation on complete hydatidiform mole in twin pregnancy at a meeting of the South East European Society of Perinatal Medicine.

Clinical focus

Dr. Çitil evaluates and treats a range of gynecological conditions. These include menstrual irregularities, endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome, and menopause, as well as pelvic pain treatment and vaginismus. She also sees patients with HPV and other sexually transmitted infections, and she manages ectopic pregnancy. Where surgery is being considered, her areas of expertise include hysterectomy; whether an operation is appropriate depends on the individual diagnosis, symptoms, and previous treatments, and this is discussed with the patient after examination.

In obstetrics, Dr. Çitil provides pregnancy follow-up and delivery, including epidural delivery. How Dr. Çitil works with international patients

Dr. Çitil consults in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for patients who speak other languages.
