Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ferdi Kıncı

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ferdi Kıncı is a specialist in Gynecology & Obstetrics at Acibadem International Hospital in İstanbul, where he works in the Gynecology & Obstetrics unit. From 2012 to 2014 he worked as a practitioner within the TSK, and from 2014 to 2018 he completed his residency in GATA Obstetrics and Gynecology, finishing his specialty training in 2018 at Health Sciences University Gülhane Training and Research Hospital Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Between 2019 and 2023 he served as a Specialist Physician at Muğla University Training and Research Hospital, and from 2023 to 2025 he held the position of Associate Professor Doktor at İzmir Şehir Hospital. In 2026 he joined Acıbadem Healthcare Services.

Clinical focus

Dr. Kıncı’s clinical work covers both obstetrics and gynecology. In obstetrics, he provides pregnancy monitoring and delivery, including epidural delivery, cesarean delivery and water birth, and he assesses and manages pregnancy-related conditions such as preeclampsia and ectopic pregnancy. In gynecology, his areas of expertise include infertility, HPV, sexually transmitted diseases, menstrual irregularities, and pelvic pain and functional disorders. He also evaluates and treats pelvic organ prolapse, uterine prolapse and urinary incontinence, and performs procedures including hysterectomy where clinically indicated.

A further focus of his practice is menopause and sexual dysfunction treatment. For these concerns, Dr. Kıncı carries out an assessment of symptoms and history and discusses the available options with the patient, taking into account her overall health and individual circumstances. Treatment decisions are made on a case-by-case basis after clinical evaluation.

How Dr. Kıncı works with international patients

Dr. Kıncı consults in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for patients who speak other languages. Before a visit, the Acibadem international patient team coordinates the collection of prior reports and imaging, such as ultrasound or MRI reports, laboratory and pathology results, operative notes and discharge summaries, and arranges appointments and the hospital visit. A first consultation typically covers the patient’s history and symptoms, a review of existing imaging and previous treatments, a clinical examination and a discussion of the options. Video consultation is available for international patients who wish to discuss their situation with Dr. Kıncı before or instead of traveling, although some assessments may still require an in-person examination.
