Cemile Ertan, MD

Cemile Ertan, MD is a dermatologist practicing in the Dermatology unit of Acibadem Göktürk Outpatient Clinic in İstanbul. Dr. Ertan graduated from İstanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1987. She then completed her specialty training at the Ankara University Faculty of Medicine Department of Dermatology and Venereal Diseases, finishing in 1992. A substantial part of Dr. Ertan’s practice involves chronic inflammatory skin diseases. How Dr. Ertan works with international patients

Dr. Ertan consults in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for patients who speak other languages. Before a visit, the Acibadem international patient team coordinates the collection of prior reports, such as previous dermatology notes, laboratory and pathology results and any relevant imaging, and arranges appointments and the visit to the clinic. A first consultation typically covers the patient’s history and symptoms, a review of previous treatments and existing test results, a clinical examination of the skin and hair, and a discussion of the available options.
