Prof. Nazan Bengüdeniz Erda, MD

Prof. Nazan Bengüdeniz Erda, MD is an ophthalmologist at Acibadem Fulya Hospital in İstanbul, where she works in the Ophthalmology unit. Clinical focus

A large part of Dr. Erda’s practice is dedicated to paediatric eye diseases. She assesses and manages strabismus, amblyopia and nystagmus, conditions in which early evaluation of eye alignment and visual development is important. She also sees children and adults with refractive errors, including myopia and hyperopia, and discusses the correction options that are appropriate for the individual patient.

In adult ophthalmology, Dr. Erda evaluates and manages glaucoma, cataract and keratoconus. She also treats blepharitis, an inflammation of the eyelid margins. Her research background in contact lens wear and the corneal endothelium is relevant to patients with corneal conditions and those who rely on contact lenses for visual correction.
