Prof. Cihan Uras is a Professor of General Surgery with a medical degree from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine (1996). Currently affiliated with Acıbadem Health Group (2025), he brings extensive surgical expertise and leadership in breast and endocrine surgery. He has held prominent roles in national and international professional organizations, including President of the Society of Breast Science (Seniology) from 2009 to 2011. He is an active member of the Istanbul Medical Chamber, Endocrine Surgery Society, Endoscopic Laparoscopic Surgery Association, American Society of Breast Disease, National Hernia Society, The Turkish Society of Menopause and Osteoporosis, Turkish Surgical Association, and Istanbul Surgical Association. Professor Uras is recognized for his commitment to advancing surgical practice, multidisciplinary care in breast disease, and education within the surgical community.
