Dr. Ecem Ertürk

Dr. Ecem Ertürk is a dermatologist at the Acibadem Bağdat Outpatient Clinic in İstanbul, where she works in the Dermatology unit with a subspecialty in Cosmetic Dermatology. How Dr. Ertürk works with international patients

Dr. Ertürk consults in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for patients who speak other languages. Before the visit, the international patient team coordinates the collection of prior reports and imaging, such as pathology results, laboratory findings, previous dermatology reports, clinical photographs where available, and any operative notes or discharge summaries, and arranges the appointment and the visit to the outpatient clinic. A first consultation typically covers the patient’s history and symptoms, a review of previous treatments and any existing reports, a clinical examination of the skin and a discussion of the diagnostic and treatment options that may be suitable. Video consultation is available for international patients who wish to discuss their situation with Dr. Ertürk before travelling, although a physical examination of the skin may still be required before a diagnosis is confirmed or a procedure is planned.
