Assoc. Prof. Deniz Atasoy is a general surgeon with a strong clinical and academic background. He earned his medical degree from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2010 and has built a career focused on surgical care and education. Since 2020 he has been practicing with Acıbadem Health Group, contributing to patient care, surgical services, and multidisciplinary teams. His areas of special interest include hernia surgery, trauma and emergency surgery, hepatopancreatobiliary procedures, and colorectal surgery. He is an active member of multiple professional organizations: the Hernia Association, the National Society for Trauma and Emergency Surgery, the Turkish Medical Association, the Turkish Surgical Association, the Turkish Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery Association, and the Turkish Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery.
